About
Katie Gorrie is a Hamilton born-and-raised artist currently working in Hamilton. Katie graduated in 2022 from Sheridan College’s Advanced Visual and Creative Arts Program. Her work has been featured in multiple gallery shows in Southern Ontario since graduating in May of 2022.Katie’s art focuses on mental health and neurodivergence. Her work features bright, saturated colours and a graphic style. She uses the imagery of eyes in many of her works to convey the feeling of constantly being viewed under a microscope; having to act and appear a certain way in order to be accepted. Bright colours in her work help to convey the intensity of her emotions and thoughts and allows the work to be un-ignorable by the viewer.Katie is the owner of the brand Sticker Hardly Know Her and is currently working on her personal practice and being featured in markets and stores across Southern Ontario as well as being a fixture in the Hamilton Art Crawl Scene.Interested in a commission or product?
